Appeal for witness to come forward in robbery investigation – London

Detectives investigating a robbery at Swiss Cottage Underground station are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The incident happened at around 5pm on Saturday 17 January. The victim was attacked by a group of men just outside the station. He was dragged down steps, threatened with a knife, and kicked and punched before his phone and watch were stolen.

A number of people witnessed the attack, and officers are keen for them to come forward. They are particularly keen to speak to one woman who bravely intervened to try to stop the attack before the men fled.
