Two charged after serious assault at Worcester Foregate Street station – Worcestershire

British Transport Police (BTP) detectives have charged two men in connection to a serious assault outside Worcester Foregate Street station.

Paul Grant, 61, of Wilton Road, Birmingham, and Mark Hughes, 34, of Lower Chestnut Street, Worcester, have been charged with Grievous Bodily Harm with Intent.

The have been remanded in custody to appear at court today (7 July).

BTP officers and paramedics attended Worcester Foregate Street station following reports of a serious assault at just before 8pm on Friday 3 July.

A 60-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
