British Transport Police (BTP) detectives have charged two men in connection to a serious assault in Central London.
Davion Defoe, aged 22 and of Chertsey Road, Croydon, and Cavalli Russell, aged 18 and of Teevan Road, Croydon, were arrested early on Sunday 10 May and later charged with Grievous Bodily Harm.
They are due to appear at Highbury Magistrates Court this morning (12 May).
Another man who was also arrested on 10 May has been released on bail.
Detectives have also arrested a fourth man in connection to the incident, who remains in custody at this time.
Officers were called by station staff at around 5.40am on Sunday 10 May, following reports of an assault in the ticket hall at Charing Cross Underground station.
Officers responded with paramedics and found a man, aged in his 20s, with severe head injuries. He was taken to hospital, where he remains in a life-threatening condition. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported.
