British Transport Police (BTP) detectives investigating an attempted sexual assault on board a train are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The incident happened at around 10pm on Tuesday 28 July on board a train between City Thameslink and London Bridge when a man on a mobility scooter attempted to sexually assault a woman. Two witnesses challenged the man before alerting the victim.
The man has now been identified, and officers are asking the two witnesses or anyone else who may have seen what happened to come forward and assist their investigation.
The man is described as white, in his late 50s, and was wearing a black hat and jacket.
