CCTV images released following attempted robbery – London

Detectives investigating an attempted robbery at Mansion House Underground station have released these images in connection.

Just after 11pm on Saturday 11 April, a man was waiting on the Victoria Line platform in the station when another man approached him.

The other man attempted to grab the first man’s phone from his pocket, demanding he hand it over and grabbing his hand to stop him from leaving.

The first man eventually was able to run away, while the second man shouted threats towards him.

Detectives would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information which could help their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 885 of 11 April.
