CCTV images released after two women assaulted at nightclub – Tyneside

Detectives investigating an assault at Jalou nightclub in Newcastle have released these images in connection.

At around 2.15am on Saturday 27 June, a woman was verbally abused by a man. As her friend intervened to de-escalate the situation, the man then punched both women in the face, causing swelling and extensive bruising, including to their eyes.

The man is believed to have links to the Birmingham area.

Officers would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information that could assist their investigation.
