CCTV images released after man sexually assaults woman on train – Greater Manchester/Cambridgeshire

Detectives investigating a sexual assault on a train from Manchester Piccadilly to Peterborough are today releasing these images in connection.

At around 11.45am on Friday 11 September, a man repeatedly sexually assaulted a woman who was asleep on board the service.

She woke up, pushed him away and moved to another part of the train.

The man got off the service at its final stop in Peterborough.

Detectives would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information which could help the investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 552 of 13 September.
