Officers investigating an assault on board a train between Cannon Street and Orpington have released this image in connection.
At around 9.20pm on Thursday 21 May, a man became verbally abusive and aggressive, threatening to kill passengers before assaulting a man.
When other people attempted to intervene and restrain him, he bit another passenger’s finger causing a deep injury with nerve and ligament damage.
The man continued to act aggressively, attempting to assault other people before leaving the train at New Cross station.
Officers would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe they may have information which could help their investigation.
