CCTV image released after man sexually assaults teenage girl – Central London

Detectives investigating a sexual assault on board an Elizabeth Line train have released this image in connection.

At around 12.40pm on Wednesday 8 July, a 16-year-old boarded a bus towards Abbey Wood Underground station and a man followed her on.  

The girl noticed the man looking at her throughout the journey, and he followed her off the bus and onto a train at Abbey Wood towards Tottenham Court Road.

Once at Tottenham Court Road, the girl left the train and was again followed by the man who approached her before sexually assaulting her and walking off.

Detectives would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information which could help their investigation.
