Do you recognise this man?
British Transport Police (BTP) officers investigating a high value theft of a rucksack containing a large amount of cash and designer sunglasses at London King’s Cross station have released this CCTV image in connection.
At around 12.15pm on Friday 5 June, the victim boarded a train at King’s Cross station and placed their black rucksack in the luggage storage section before finding their seat. Inside was nearly £1,000 in cash, a mobile phone worth more than £250 and Ray Ban Smart sunglasses worth over £300, along with banks cards and other personal items.
While the train was still in the station a man boarded the service, took the rucksack, and left the train.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information that could help with their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 2600073302.
Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
