Appeal for witnesses after man assaulted in station – Glasgow

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was assaulted at Glasgow Central in July.

At around 6.10pm on Sunday 26 July, a man was walking up the stairs from the toilets to the concourse was punched unprovoked in the face, fracturing his jaw.

The man who committed the assault then ran off, pushing past an elderly man as he made his way onto Gordon Street.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault or the man running from the station to come forward and help the investigation.
