PC Ziolkowski attended an Accelerated Misconduct Hearing on Friday 27th February 2026 at PSD Offices, Ivason House, 8A London Bridge Street, SE1 9SG.
PC Ziolkowski, based in Kings Cross, answered allegations that his conduct amounted to breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
It was alleged that on Saturday 20th September 2025, while off duty, PC Ziolkowski was stopped by Cambridgeshire Roads Policing officers while driving a motor vehicle. During the stop, it was established that he held only a provisional driving licence, was not displaying “L plates,” and was driving without a qualified supervisor. As a result, he was driving other than in accordance with the conditions of his licence, which rendered his motor insurance invalid at the time of the incident.
It was further alleged that these matters, individually and/or cumulatively, amounted to gross misconduct, namely a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour that, if proven, were so serious as to justify dismissal.
The Chief Constable found the allegations proven and the officer was dismissed without notice.
