A man is due in court charged in connection with a rape at Nuneaton railway station in Warwickshire.
British Transport Police (BTP) officers located Billy Ormiston in Plymouth City Centre on the afternoon of Friday 5 June and arrested him.
Ormiston, aged 36 and of no fixed address, is due to appear before Plymouth Magistrates’ Court today, Monday 8 June, charged with two counts of Rape and one count of Sexual Assault.
As part of their enquiries, BTP officers executed warrants at two residential addresses in Plymouth on the night of Friday 5 June.
One woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and taken into custody. She was later released on bail pending further enquiries
Officers were called to Nuneaton railway station at 9.24pm on Friday 13 March following reports of a rape at the station.
Specially trained officers are continuing to support the victim.
