British Transport Police (BTP) officers have released a CCTV image of a person they believe may be able to assist with their ongoing enquires into an incident.
The incident happened on Saturday 11 April 2026 on the ScotRail 7.49pm service from Edinburgh Waverley to Cowdenbeath.
The man pictured is described as a white male, aged in his 20s, with short dark hair, approximately 5ft 9in tall, and of medium build.
He was wearing a mint green Stone Island crew neck sweater and dark trousers.
Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 732 of 11 April.
Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crime stoppers on 0800 555 111.
