Former PC Karl Palmer, based in Sheffield, will answer allegations that his conduct amounted to breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
It is alleged that on Thursday 9th October 2025 PC Palmer was convicted at Nottinghamshire Magistrates Court, that on Tuesday 28th May 2024, he drove a motor vehicle on a road after consuming so much alcohol that he exceeded the prescribed limit.
It is alleged that these matters amounts to gross misconduct, namely a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour that, if proved, are so serious as to justify dismissal.
The identity of victims/witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
