Misconduct Hearing - A Former Police Officer
A former British Transport Police Officer is to attend a Misconduct Hearing on Monday 21st July – 1st August 2025 at PSD Offices, British Transport Police, 2nd Floor, Toft Green, York Y01, 6JT.
It is alleged that the former BTP Officer touched PC A without her consent, digitally penetrated PC A and forced PC A to perform oral sex on him without her consent.
It is further alleged that the former BTP Officer also touched PC B without her consent, making a lewd comment to PC B and going to her room wearing only a towel.
The former BTP Officer is alleged to have breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour relating to Authority, Respect and Courtesy and Discreditable Conduct.
These matters individually and/or collectively amount to gross misconduct, namely a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour that, if proved, is so serious as to justify dismissal had he been a serving officer.
The identity of victims/witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
