PC Gavin Parsons, based in London, attended a Misconduct Hearing which took place at the PSD offices, Ivason House, London between 23 February – 27 February and 25 March 2026 to answer allegations that his conduct amounted to breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of:
On Saturday 14 December 2024, PC Parsons responded to an incident at London Bridge Underground Station involving two children, referred to as Child A and Child B.
It was alleged that PC Parsons:
It was further alleged that the race of Child A and Child B influenced PC Parsons’ perception of their age and his treatment of them.
The panel found allegations 1-3 Proven and that it amounted to gross misconduct and PC Parsons breached the standards of behaviour Authority and Courtesy, Use of Force, Order and instructions and Discreditable conduct
The panel found allegations 4-5 Not Proven and he did not breach the standards of behaviour of honesty and integrity and Equality and Diversity.
PC Parsons recieved a Final Written Warning.
