NOTICE OF HEARING OUTCOME

ALLEGATIONS:
Special Police Constable Muhammad Farooq, based in London, attended a gross misconduct hearing between 3rd to 5th August 2026 to answer allegations that his conduct amounted to breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:

It was alleged that these matters individually and/or cumulatively amounted to gross misconduct, namely a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour that, if proved, are so serious as to justify dismissal.
OUTCOME
The Panel found the allegations proved, and that the breaches amounted to gross misconduct. SPC Farooq was dismissed without notice.

Note
At the direction of the Chair, the earlier public notice of the hearing referred to SPC Farooq as 'A Special Police Constable'. At the conclusion of the hearing, the Panel removed the anonymity order regarding SPC Farooq.
