A 37-year-old man appeared at court this morning (4 May) charged in connection to a fatal stabbing in Greenwich on Sunday 1 May.
David Joseph Johnson, 37, and of Haddo Street, Greenwich, London, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 4 May charged with murder.
He has been remanded in custody until his next appearance at London Central Criminal Court on Friday 6 May.
British Transport Police (BTP) and the Metropolitan Police were called to Greenwich High Road at 2.15am on Sunday 1 May following reports of a stabbing.
Officers quickly attended alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and a man in his thirties was taken to hospital where he very sadly died a short time later.
