A serving British Transport Police officer is due to appear at court charged with one count of GBH (Grievous Bodily Harm), following an investigation by Greater Manchester Police.
PC Niki Minev, who is based in Manchester, will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on 17 August.
The charges relate to an incident in a bar while off duty in Manchester City Centre on 8 October 2022.
PC Minev was suspended from duty following the incident.
