A serving British Transport Police (BTP) senior officer has received a final written warning, following a misconduct hearing held between 19 and 21 April.
The officer attended the hearing, held at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Camden, where he answered two allegations that he had breached the standards of professional behaviour.
These were:
The police premises were not police stations.
The independent panel found the officer had a case proven for both allegations at the level of Gross Misconduct. He subsequently received a final written warning to be held on his personnel file for a period of 18 months.
