British Transport Police are today appealing for information following a report of a robbery at Knaresborough station, Harrogate.
The incident happened between 6.25pm and 6.30pm on Saturday 25 September on the Leeds bound platform.
A man is reported to have been assaulted and had his bank card stolen. Officers are appealing for information from anyone who was in the area at the time.
The suspect is described as a man, aged between 20 and 25 years old, of a slim build, and wearing a grey tracksuit top and bottoms. He was in the company of a woman with blond hair.
