Officers investigating a sexual assault on a service travelling from Liverpool Street to Goodmayes station are today releasing this image in connection.
At 7pm on Tuesday 11 May a man sat next to a woman on a train and tried to engage in a conversation while she ignored him. He sexually assaulted the woman and followed her off the train at Goodmayes station.
The victim escaped him to find a member of staff at the station. The man then boarded a southbound train.
Officers believe the man in this image may have information which could help their investigation.
