Did you witness this incident? Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following an incident of stone throwing causing damage to a railway service between Barrhead and Priesthill & Darnley Railway Stations. The incident happened on 27/12/2024 at around 1800 hours when a piece of railway ballast was thrown at a moving train, breaking a window and covering multiple passengers with glass. Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40 or by texting 61016, with reference 411 of 27 December. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
