Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward after police officer were assaulted on Buckingham Palace Road, London.
At about 6:00pm on Tuesday 18 March, a man was acting aggressive waving an empty alcohol bottle near Buckingham Palace Road. Officers engaged with the man to try and get him to drop the bottle. The man has then raised the bottle and hit one officer in the arm causing a wound and another officer has suffered a wound to the side of their face.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm and assaulting an emergency worker.
