Officers investigating an incident on-board a service between Waterloo and Blundellsands & Crosby stations, Merseyside, are today appealing for witnesses.
At 5pm on Wednesday 20 January, a man pulled the emergency brake situated in the train’s carriage. As the train driver reset the brake, he was punched in the face by the man.
The man then threatened the train guard before passengers on-board the service intervened to diffuse the situation.
