Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in which a teenager was assaulted at Paisley Canal railway station.
On Friday 9 July the victim boarded the 21:24 service from Crookston to Paisley Canal and was approached by three young men with bikes.
When the victim got off the train at Paisley Canal station, the young men followed him to the station exit. Two of them demanded money from him and put him in a headlock, once they realised the victim had no money they left the area.
Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to help with their investigation.
