Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a racially aggravated assault and a sexual assault on-board a train travelling between Birmingham and Leicester.
At just before 9pm on Wednesday 2 May, a victim was racially abused and assaulted by a man as the service travelled through the Midlands.
The same man is then reported to have sexually assaulted a female on the service.
He has since been arrested and released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Officers are keen to identify the female victim and speak to anyone who was on-board the service at the time and may have witnessed the incident.
