Officers are appealing for witnesses following a physical altercation at Uphall railway station, West Lothian, Scotland.
On Wednesday 24 February at around 9.15pm, two men became engaged in a fight resulting in one of the men sustaining serious injuries.
It is reported that at least one member of the public intervened to stop the men fighting.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
