Do you recognise this man?
Officers are today reissuing CCTV images in connection with an assault that took place outside Birmingham New Street railway station back in 2023.
At around 3.20am on Saturday 16 December 2023 the victim was sitting outside the station when he was approached by a man who assaulted him.
The victim managed to escape but the man chased him down before assaulting him again. While the victim was lying injured on the ground the man went through his pockets and stole personal property from him.
Officers would like to speak to the man in the images who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 255 of 16 December 2023.
Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
