Do you recognise this man?
Officers investigating an incident during which a member of rail staff was racially abused are today releasing CCTV images in connection.
At 1.30pm on Thursday 11 February, a man boarded a service at Preston railway station and was asked by the train conductor to show his ticket, however the man stated that he did not have a valid ticket.
The conductor then asked the man to purchase a ticket, but the man refused so was asked to leave the train at Kirkham and Wesham railway station. He initially refused to do so and racially abused the victim before getting off the train and riding his bike down the platform to the exit.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
If you recognise him, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 202 of 11/02/21.
