Do you recognise this man?
Officers investigating a hate crime at York station are today releasing CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection.
At just before 8.30pm on Saturday 9 October, the victim walked by a group of men in the station’s concourse. As he did so, one of the men made a homophobic comment towards him.
The victim challenged the man, who responded by punching the victim in the face, causing him to lose consciousness and hit his head on the floor as he fell.
The man then left the station while the other members of his group boarded a train.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
If you recognise him, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2100075749.
