Officers investigating an assault outside Hull Paragon Interchange are today releasing CCTV images in connection.
At around 5am on Saturday 14 August, a man and his partner left a local pub and got into a disagreement with another man.
They then headed to the taxi rank at Hull Paragon Interchange when a different man ran up to the victim and hit him three times on the head with a metal pole.
The attacker then fled the scene.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he received stitches to two large cuts on the back of his head.
Officers believe the people in the images may have information which could help their investigation.
