Do you recognise this man?
Officers investigating a violent assault against a man at Woolwich Arsenal DLR station are today releasing this CCTV image in connection.
At around 11.55am on Friday 10 September, a man got off a train at the station and punched a passenger waiting on the platform. As the victim ran away, the man chased him and pulled him to the ground where he continued to punch and kick him in the head and upper body before walking away.
The men were not known to each other and the victim attended hospital for treatment to severe facial injuries, including a broken tooth and split lip.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.
