Officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted on-board a Northern line Tube travelling between Tottenham Court Road and Tufnell Park Underground stations.
At just after 4pm on Friday 26 March, the victim was travelling on the service playing a game on his phone when girl seated with a group of people accused him of filming them.
The girl and the rest of the group, comprising of two other girls and three boys, then approached the victim and started punching him until he fell on the floor.
One of the girls then stamped on the victim’s ankle, fracturing it in two places.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was on-board the service at the time and may have witnessed the incident.
