Detectives are appealing for witnesses in connection with an incident in which a man was punched several times and knocked to the ground.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses in connection with an incident in which a man was punched several times and knocked to the ground.
At 11.20pm last night (Tuesday 17 May 2022), officers were called to the incident at Christchurch Railway Station, Dorset, where they arrested two 17-year-old males who are now in custody.
The victim is currently in hospital where he is receiving medical treatment.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in or around the station at the time.
Detective Sergeant Mike Blakeburn said: “We believe that a number of people were in or around the station at the time. In particular, we believe there was another man in close proximity to the incident who could have vital information which may help us with our investigation. I’d like to appeal to him to come forward and help us with our enquiries.
