Do you recognise these men?
Detectives investigating a serious assault at Turnpike Lane Underground station are today releasing images in connection.
At just before 2pm on Thursday 7 January, three brothers witnessed a man take another man’s phone just outside the station. The three brothers chased the man and managed to get the phone back and return it to the victim.
The three bothers then went to their friend’s house in the local area before returning to the station at 9pm that evening to make their way home. The friend that they had been visiting walked them to the station to ensure they were safe given the earlier incident.
When they arrived at the station they saw the man from earlier and two other men who began shouting at the group. One of the men was holding a knife, so the three brothers and their friend ran in the opposite direction.
As they were running away, the friend that walked the brothers to the station tripped over and was stabbed three times by one of the men.
All three men then ran out of the station.
Officers believe the men in the images may have information which could help their investigation.
