British Transport Police detectives are today issuing images following a shocking assault on a train driver at Bromley By Bow London Underground Station.
The incident happened at around 11.55pm on Monday 22 January when a man smashed through the driver’s door and repeatedly assaulted him.
Despite the attack the driver managed to safely bring the train to a stop but was left shaken and traumatised by what happened.
The man left the train at Bromley By Bow LUS.
Officers believe the man in the images may have information that could help their investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 710 of 22 January.
