Officers investigating a spate of attempted robberies on the London Underground are today releasing CCTV images in connection.
On Thursday 31 December 2020 at around 2pm, two men approached the victim on the Victoria line platform at Oxford Circus Underground station. One of the men said “give me your phone” before trying to snatch it out of the victim’s hand, however the victim managed to get away.
The two men then boarded a Victoria line service and approached two further victims making threats of violence and demanding their phones.
Officers believe the men in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
