Do you recognise this man?
Officers investigating a racially aggravated assault on board a train from Euston to Watford Junction are today releasing this image in connection.
At around 1pm on Wednesday 13 December, a father and son were travelling together toward Watford Junction.
A man walked past them before turning back to sit opposite them before using threatening and anti-Semitic language.
As he stood to leave, he grabbed the head covering from the son and walked toward the door. The son challenged him to get his head covering back, when the man started pulling the son out of the train.
The father intervened and the man left the train at Harrow and Wealdstone.
Officers believe the man in the image may have information that could help their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 272 of 13/12/2023.
Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
