Do you recognise this man?
Officers investigating an assault at Canterbury West railway station are today releasing a CCTV image in connection.
At just after 10pm on 20 May, the victim approached a man on-board a train travelling between London St Pancras and Ramsgate and enquired as to why he wasn’t wearing a face covering and why he was playing loud music.
The man then turned his music off, put on a face covering and walked away from the victim.
Both men disembarked the service at Canterbury West before the man picked up a bottle in the station’s car park, hit the victim on the back of the head with it and ran away.
The victim required medical treatment to a large cut on the back of his head.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.
