Do you recognise this man?
Detectives investigating an incident on board a London Underground service are today releasing this image in connection.
At around 10am on Monday, 8 May, a woman was travelling on the Central Line when a man approached her between Mile End and Bethnal Green. He sat opposite her and raised his leg on the handrail and began rubbing his groin. As he attempted to expose himself the victim loudly confronted the man and moved away.
The victim saw the man alight at Bethnal Green station as he shouted at her from the platform. However, when she alighted a stop later at Liverpool Street Station, the man was on the platform.
Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help their investigation.
If you recognise him, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 181 of 08/05/23.
