CCTV released after attempted robbery – Walsall

Officers investigating an attempted robbery on-board a service at Walsall railway station are today releasing CCTV images in connection.
At 4pm on Monday 21 December 2020, the victim, who was sat on-board the train with his bicycle as it was at Walsall station, was approached by two men.
One of the men pointed at the victim’s bike and said “you know I’m having this big man” before grabbing it and trying to take it off the train. The victim stepped in to protect his property, at which point he was assaulted by one of the men.
The two men got off the train at Walsall station and ran away.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
