CCTV released after assault on teen - Newton Aycliffe

Do you recognise this young man?

 

Detective investigating an assault are today releasing a CCTV image in connection.

 

At around 4.45pm on 6 September a 18-year-old young man was attacked by a group of four youths at Newton Aycliffe station.

 

The victim was repeatedly kicked and punched by the group who continued to assault him once he had been knocked to the ground.

 

The victim sustained numerous cuts and bruises and attended hospital.

Detectives would like to speak to the young man in the image who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
