Do you recognise this man?
Detectives investigating a report of robbery and assault on the London Underground are today releasing these images in connection.
At around 3.30pm on 22 October, a man sat next to a woman on the Metropolitan Line service between Preston Road and Wembley Park and demanded her belongings. She managed to move away from the man before he turned his attention to another passenger.
He then made the same demand of another man on the train and the pair were involved in an altercation. As the train pulled into Wembley Park he picked the up the victim’s bags and left the train.
Once on the platform he assaulted a teenage boy and demanded his money, but the boy managed to get away.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information that could help their investigation.
They are also appealing for the boy who was assaulted to come forward.
Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV, or has any other information, is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2400132555 of 22 October 2024.
Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
