Do you recognise this man?
Officers investigating a robbery on-board a train travelling between Preston and Chorley are today releasing CCTV images in connection.
At around 5.30am on Tuesday 31 August, the victim and a man boarded a train at Preston railway station.
The victim took a seat on-board the service and a short while later the man sat next to him and told him he had a machete on him and that he would use it if the victim didn’t comply.
He then asked the victim to hand over his bank cards and PIN numbers, which he did through fear.
Both the man and the victim got off the train at Chorley railway station.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
If you recognise him, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 51 of 31/08/21.
