Do you recognise this man?
Detectives investigating an assault at Oxford Circus Underground Station in April have today released this image in connection.
At around 3.40pm on Monday 21 April the victim was on a northbound Victoria line train when a man grabbed his spectacles and broke them. The victim protested and demanded he pay for the damage.
When the man left the train at Oxford Circus he punched the victim in the face, knocking out two of his teeth, before putting him in a headlock and choking him.
Officers would like to speak to the man pictured as they believe he may have information which could help their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 338 of 21 April.
Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
