CCTV image released after woman sexually assaulted - Ipswich

Detectives investigating a sexual assault at Ipswich station are today releasing this CCTV image in connection.

 

The incident happened around 5am on Saturday 19 August.

 

A 36-year-old woman was followed by a man from the town centre into the train station. The man then  followed her into the toilets on the platform where he sexually assaulted her.

 

The woman shouted and managed to get away from the man before running to get help. The man then left the station.

 

Detectives would like to speak to the man in the image who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
