CCTV image released after woman sexually assaulted on train - Carlisle

Detectives investigating a sexual assault on a train travelling to Carlisle are today releasing this image in connection. 

 

At around 9.45am on Monday 31 July, a woman was standing in the vestibule of the train ready to depart at Carlisle when she was sexually assaulted by a man standing behind her.

 

 

Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help their investigation.
