Officers investigating a report of assault are today releasing these images in connection.
The incident occurred at around 10.50pm on Monday 26 August, on board a central line train between Shepherds Bush and White City stations.
A passenger was attacked by two men who put him in a headlock and punched him in the face several times in an attempt to steal his phone.
Officers believe the men in the CCTV images may have information that could help their investigation.
Anyone who recognises them, or has any other information, is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 805 of 26 August.
Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
